Karineh Minissian and Chad Folkerts proudly represented Norchem at this year's TRSA Legislative Conference held in the heart of Washington, D.C.
The TRSA Legislative Conference, fondly referred to as "LegCon," serves as an annual gathering for industry peers to convene and engage with local representatives on Capitol Hill. Karineh and Chad were actively involved in discussions, advocating for key issues impacting the textile services industry.
Going home big winners!
During the conference, Karineh had the honor of accepting three awards for the 2023 Supplier Video of the Year Award on behalf of Norchem. The award-winning videos showcased Norchem's partnerships with industry leaders, including Emerald Textiles, Ace Imagewear KC, and Miller's Textile Services. Karineh personally also received an honorable mention for the Above and Beyond Service Award. While accepting the awards, she states "Being able to tell a story is a huge part of the human existence... and so I'd like to share this award with the participants of the video for their candor and openness to share their story... it humanizes what we do as an industry."
At the end of her speech, she calls out a thank you to her father, founder Kevin Minissian, for allowing her, as a second-generation leader, the opportunity to continue Norchem's commitment to service and sustainability within the industry.

As we reflect on our participation at the 2024 TRSA LegCon, we are inspired by the opportunity to collaborate with industry peers and policymakers to drive positive change.
